This congress has been held regularly every year in one of the cities of Dubai, Kish and Istanbul. Most of the participants of this congress are doctors specializing in cardiology and related specialties from Iran and Middle East countries. After the spread of the corona disease, this congress will be held online since last year.

The Middle East Congress of Cardiology is held every year in two sections: lecture and poster presentation. Most of the speakers of this congress are selected and invited by the scientific group of the congress from among cardiology specialists and related specialties of Iran and other countries. The speakers of this congress are selected from among the country's leading specialists in the field of cardiology, and if possible, a certificate of participation is issued to the participants of the congress. In case of agreement and approval by the retraining department of the Ministry of Health, retraining points will be awarded according to the expertise of the participants.
